Germany’s O.CT-Tuning tells us that the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS with its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that produces 426-horsepower and 420 lb-ft (569Nm) of peak torque is not fast enough and that owners should take a look at its new performance package called the “Yellow Steam Hammer”.
Applied on a European market 2012 Camaro SS Transformers Edition but available on all SS V8 models, O.CT-Tuning’s upgrade includes the addition of a bolt on supercharger and other components that boost output to 621hp (630PS) and maximum torque to 538 lb-ft (730Nm).
The aftermarket firm also fits the Camaro with a custom-made stainless steel exhaust system, which it says produces a throatier sound at higher speeds.
O.CT-Tuning did not release any performance figures nor has it announced pricing yet.
