Among the many models Toyota keeps for select markets in Asia is the Alphard luxury people carrier and its slightly sportier-looking twin, the Vellfire.
These two models are the latest vehicles to fall in the hands of Japanese tuning firm Wald International.
Perhaps the more interesting of the two styling tunes is the one Wald prepared for the Vellfire, which in factory trim, features a different fascia than the Alphard along with an aero kit.
The Japanese company decided that it would be better if it turned the Vellfire into a Lexus-branded model by adding a new front grille that mimics the styling of the one found on the HS 250h.
There’s also a new front front apron, side skirts, and a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser and bespoke exhaust pipes plus chrome trim and a Lexus logo between the tail lamps.
A lowered suspension, a roof spoiler and a set of alloy wheels complete the look.
Sans the Vellfire’s Lexus grille, the same parts are used in Wald International’s styling and suspension package for the Alphard.
