As you may have expected upon seeing the photos of the new Logan small sedan that we showed you earlier today, Dacia has also prepared a replacement for the five-door hatchback version of the series named Sandero.
Set to make its world premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show alongside the 2013 Logan 2, the new generation of the Sandero follows the same recipe as its predecessor being based on a shorter version of the sedan’s platform.
The two models share the same styling and mechanical hardware, with the Sandero also benefiting from a more premium interior.
The VW Polo-sized supermini will eventually be rolled out in other markets outside Europe including Brazil and Argentina under the Renault brand.
Along with the regular model seen in these first photos, our spies have captured Dacia working on the Sandero Stepway, which is a more rugged looking version of the supermini with prominent roof bars, protective plastic cladding and a higher-riding suspension.
