The crucially important for Renault’s future new Clio Mk4 will be manufactured simultaneously at its Flins plant in France and the Bursa factory in Turkey, the automaker announced today.
The French carmaker pointed out that, at this point, it “cannot supply any figures on the share of New Renault Clio production between these two plants”.
Renault added that in Flins, production would be split between the new generation of the Clio and the new ZOE, an all-electric, five-door supermini, depending on demand.
The new Clio made its world premiere at the ongoing 2012 Paris Motor Show where Renault displayed the regular five-door variants alongside the roomier and more practical Estate model and the high-performance RenaultSport 200 powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four with 197hp (200PS) connected to a standard dual-clutch transmission.
