It’s one of the most coveted and beautiful Ferrari models of recent times, and as such, it’s also one of the rarest and most expensive, which explains why many kit car makers have tried again and again to replicate and offer the F40 to the masses.
To be honest, we’ve yet to see one that will fool the trained eye, but if anything else, the owner of the Ferrari F40 clone you see pictured here, seems to have done his best to recreate the looks of one of Maranello’s finest supercars on a humble Pontiac Fiero V6, both inside and out.
The car is said be “100% finished” and drivable having clocked 25,000 miles (a little over 40,000 kilometers) on the odometer.
There’s no asking price on the eBay listing, though, last we checked, the highest bid at US$25,400 (about €19,800 at today’s exchange rates) did not meet the seller’s reserve.
