One by one, the new or updated vehicles from this year’s Paris Motor Show are being launched across Europe. Toyota on its part has announced pricing for the facelifted 2013 Verso MPV that is available for to order now with customer deliveries from mid-January 2013.
On-the-road Prices range from £17,495 for the entry-level 5-seater Active model with a 1.6-liter petrol unit, to £23,445 for the 7-seater 1.8-liter petrol and 2.0-liter diesel variants, both in Excel trim.
Toyota says the new-look Verso comes with some 470 new or revised parts such as the redesigned front end of the car, interior updates and tweaked petrol and diesel engines.
Speaking about the powertrain line-up, UK customers can choose from two petrol units, a 1.6-liter with 130Hp (132PS) and a 1.8-liter delivering 145Hp (147PS), plus a 2.0-liter diesel rated at 124Hp (126PS) with CO2 emissions reduced by 10g/km to fall under 130g/km.
Toyota’s compact minivan adopts a new three-grade structure: Active, Icon and Excel. Standard features on all models include front fog lights, air conditioning, electric front windows, Hill-start Assist Control and, on the seven-seat versions, the company’s Easy Flat folding system for the rear seats.
