To underscore the brand’s entry into a new growth phase, VW Group-owned Skoda presented an updated version of its winged arrow logo with a more modern design that did away with the integrated ŠKODA lettering on the VisionD Concept study back in 2011.
In addition, the Czech carmaker also introduced a new typeface (font) for its name and model designations, which first appeared on a production model on the Citigo city car followed by the Rapid compact.
Now it time for two more Skoda models to gain the brand’s new logo and lettering, the Fabia series and the Roomster.
Along with the carmaker’s name, the engine and additional designations such as TSI, TDI, GreenLine or vRS on these two vehicles will also adopt the new font, while the Skoda lettering will appear at the rear of the cars for the first time.
