Chrysler’s never-ending run of special edition models continues with the new 2013MY 300 Glacier, which follows the 300 John Varvatos Luxury Edition, 300 Motown Edition, 300S with Beats by Dr. Dre, and even a series of concept editions at car shows, including in Detroit with the Turbine Edition, just to mention a few of the most recent unveiling.
The winter-flavored 300 Glacier combines the Detroit carmaker’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that generates 300-horsepower or optionally, the 363hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8, with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive as standard.
Building on the appearance of the 300S model, the Glacier edition adds unique body-color fascia accents, along with Gloss Black mirrors, headlamp bezels, Black Chrome sculpted horizontal grille blades, and bespoke 19-inch rims finished in Satin Carbon with P235/55R19 all-season performance tires.
Buyers can choose from three exterior colors, including Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic and exclusively to this model, Glacier Blue Pearl Coat, while there’s also an all-new Gloss Black painted roof option.
Inside, all Glacier models come equipped with power front sport seats with black “Falls” cloth in the seat centers and leather-wrapped bolsters in black, finished off with black French-seamed stitching. Other features include Piano Black trims on the center stack, instrument panel, steering wheel, gauge cluster and door panel elements, matte carbon hydrographic accents and embroidered black floor mats.
The 300 Glacier is available at dealerships now with prices starting from $36,845 (excluding $995 destination) for the V6 model.
