Audi came out with the refreshed A5 Sportback back in the summer of 2011, making it available for sale in most countries before the end of the same year. It’s been a while in car-months, but ABT Sportsline has released a comprehensive package for Ingolstadt’s sleek liftback model.
The German tuner offers performance upgrades to the handling and engine departments along with cosmetic upgrades for the A5 Sportback’s exterior.
We’ll start with ABT’s petrol engine kits that power up the 1.8-liter TFSI from 170PS (168hp) to 211PS (208hp), the 2.0-liter TFSI from 211PS (208hp) to 270PS (266hp) and the 3.0-liter TFSI from 272PS (268hp) to 380PS (375hp).
For European owners of diesel models, ABT does its magic to lift output of the 2.0-liter TDI from 177PS (175hp) to 205PS (202hp), and the 3.0-liter TDI from 245PS (242hp) to 300PS (296hp).
ABT continues with a choice of two sport suspensions that lower the car’s ride height by 25mm or 50mm, a more powerful braking system and a custom exhaust system with quad tailpipes.
For the A5 Sportback’s exterior, the German tuner proposes a front lip spoiler, decorative fender vents, a rear apron incorporating a diffuser and a selection of alloy wheels in 19- and 20-inch diameters.
