Usually, carmakers unveil new concept cars at dedicated international motor shows, but that won’t be the case with Renault’s latest design study, which will be revealed in the flesh for the first time at the Triennale of Milan event on April 8, 2013.
The unnamed concept, some details of which are teased in a series of pictures that you can see for yourself in the gallery after the break, is the result of the collaborative efforts of Renault’s own design department and the Lovegrove Studio.
Renault says it combined forces with Ross Lovegrove, a renowned industrial designer known for his organic inspired designs, to “explore new design languages” that will underline the brand’s design strategy in the near future.
“Working with contemporary computational design, Ross Lovegrove and his studios intension is to reveal natures underlying blueprints and transfer them into a new design language,” said the French company in a statement.
Further details and photos of the Renault study are to be released withing the next few weeks.
