One of the very first things you learn as a driver is to slow down while approaching, and always come to a complete stop at a crosswalk if a pedestrian is walking or waiting to cross the road.
While the driver with the dash-cam did precisely that, the person sitting behind the wheel of the car that was following on from the rear didn’t pay attention and slammed into the other vehicle.
Oddly, the woman that was standing on the side of the road was unfazed even when the car that was hit steered towards her way missing her just by a few inches.
