The Gumball 3000 rally started on Saturday, May 18, and videos with the ridiculously expensive cars that take part in the competition have already appeared on YouTube.
The first two clips were shot at Koenigsegg’s headquarters in Sweden, where the cars made a stop. The rainy weather that was responsible for an accident in the first day of the rally – a Lamborghing LP670-4 SuperVeloce, didn’t stop the expensive lineup from continuing their journey, as you can see in the third video which follows contestants down Swedish roads.
Take the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss for instance. It doesn’t even have a windshield – not to mention a soft-top – but that didn’t stop the Gumball 3000 team from driving it in the pouring rain. There aren’t that many places in the world where one can see a rare $1 million car being driven in the rain.
You can also see a wide range of expensive cars – basically, anything you can think of from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, McLaren, and even Rolls-Royce. Enjoy the eclectic mix of vehicles (and people) in the videos, courtesy of GTBoard, below.
