Large people carriers like the Mercedes-Benz Viano, which in some countries, including Japan, is sold as the V-Class, are designed from the offset to put the emphasis on practicality and spaciousness, leaving the eye candy-aspect of the build on the side.

While you can’t convert a minivan originally developed to transfer goods into a sleek looking sports car, you can spice up its appearance, which brings us to Wald International and its Mercedes-Benz Viano program.

Judging by these pictures, the Japanese tuner did its best to offer the minivan a more dynamic and racier look with its aero package that’s available for both the pre- and facelift versions of the Viano. The kit includes a new front bumper with a lip spoiler and LED daytime running lights, front fender vents, side skirts, a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and dual exhaust pipes, and a roof spoiler.

There’s also a lowering kit and a new set of multispoke alloy wheels. In addition, Wald International offers a styling package that “facelifts” the 2004-2010 Viano’s.
