We don’t know if the video we posted below is from Russia, but since the Cyrillic alphabet is used, and a Lada Niva can be seen in the background, it’s plausible. In any case, it features a very lucky man who narrowly escapes being crushed alive by a truck that collided with the bus he was putting diesel in at a filling station.

The truck wasn’t traveling particularly fast, otherwise the title of this piece would have contained any number words from the semantic field of “explosion”.

Thankfully, the structure the truck crashed into (pillar holding up the roof) withstood the impact well, and limited the damage done to the stationary bus considerably – you could call it a buffer.

This crash reminds us of a surprisingly similar incident, which unfolded at an even greater speed. In this instance, the survival of the man filling up is even more unbelievable.
