Infiniti has just released UK pricing on the all-new 2014 Q50 sedan that replaces the G series in its range, while also announcing final U.S. prices for the same model.
Set to go on sale in the U.S. early next month, the Q50 will be available in two guises, the base model sporting a 328-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 and a 354 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 Hybrid. Prices, excluding a $905 destination fee (*), start from $36,700 for the 3.7L model and from $43,950 for the Hybrid. We should note that the final prices are slightly higher than those announced for pre-orders in March.
Moving an ocean away, in Britain, the Q50 will be offered at launch with two engine options, including a 2.2-liter turbocharged inline-four diesel producing 168hp (170PS) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque that starts from £27,950, and a 3.5-litre V6 petrol-electric hybrid powerplant delivering a combined 359hp (364PS) for a 0-62mph (100km/h) in 5.3 seconds and 155g/km of CO2, that’s priced from £40,000.
Among other standard features included in all UK market models are a customisable digital dual touch-screens; stop-start; rear-view camera; Active Noise Control; Active Trace Control; dual-zone climate control; 17-inch alloy wheels; Scratch Shield paint; split folding rear-seat backrests and ski hatch; multifunction steering wheel; voice recognition system; and Bluetooth mobile connectivity and audio streaming.
First deliveries for the U.K. are scheduled for the beginning of September.
