An officer’s job is to protect and serve the public, you say? Well, I guess we’d all like to believe that even when cops use bad judgment.
In a new video named “Unplanned Pregnancy” from the DA INBREDBOYS containing footage of a number of different skateboarders doing their thing on the streets, there’s a scene (at the 21:10 minute mark) of state police trooper behind the wheel of the silver-colored Ford Crown Victoria with a blue-top hitting a young man named Tim Crawford standing on the sidewalk.
The trooper was performing a U-turn and knocked over Crawford. The scene seems to be edited in terms of length, but the cop is seen talking to Crawford before driving away.
When asked by a viewer on YouTube about the incident and whether “the cop paid for ramming your homie”, INBREDBOYS, replied, “no, Tim did not want to press any charges or sue or anything…….but its cool cause we got an amazing clip haha.”
Judging by this video, there was absolutely no need for the officer to press the pedal to the metal to make the U-turn. In fact, by doing so, he endangered the very people he is supposed to protect, and this is not the first time we’ve seen cops doing something of the sort…
