Subaru will continue to offer its current generation WRX and STI hatchbacks and sedans for the 2014 model year in the States, while it prepares their successor that’s scheduled to be introduced within the next couple of years. There aren’t any changes in terms of mechanical hardware or equipment features, but Subaru did increases prices by $200 (it had done the same with the 2013MY).

The 265-horsepower WRX has a starting MSRP of $25,995 regardless of the body style, while the 305-horsepower STI can be had for $34,495 in four-door sedan form and $36,495 as a five-door hatchback. Prices exclude a $795 destination fee.

Those looking for more extras, there’s a Limited edition of the WRX with an MSRP of $29,495 that adds leather-trimmed upholstery and high-intensity discharged (HID) headlights, as well as of the STI sedan that costs $37,845 and adds power moonroof, fog lights, leather upholstery and BBS wheels. As far as options are concerned, the navigation system with a 6.1-in. touch screen is priced at $1,100 for both models.
