This is not the first time Audi has had a go at creating a space-age vehicle for use in movies which portray some future instance of mankind. You may remember their previous effort as being featured in the iRobot movie, starring Will Smith.
Now, they’re making a “futuristic, progressive and cutting edge” concept for “Summit Entertainment’s film adaptation of the award-winning, best-selling novel Ender’s Game” – it’s called the fleet shuttle quattro (strangely, no capitals used whatsoever here).
The concept was thought up with the help of the movie’s director, Gavin Hood, as well as its production team, and “use the latest technology to digitally and seamlessly integrate the Audi fleet shuttle quattro into the futuristic environment of the film.” Still, so far, we have no actual models (3D or real) to look at and cast our opinion on, so until Ender’s Game premieres in cinemas on October 24, it’s all we have to go on.
Check out the high-res version of the sole sketch we have to go on until then, below, and feel free to share your thoughts on the design. To my eyes, it looks like a more angular and longer version of this. Moreover, we have also posted the latest trailer for the movie, just in case you missed it.
