Minus a few and costly exceptions, most notably the upcoming 37-inch long 1/6th scale replica from Hong Kong’s Hot Toys, the most accurate and easily obtainable scale versions of the 1966 Batmobile from the classic TV series come from Hot Wheels, which over the years, has presented several editions in terms of looks, quality and price.

The best models from Mattel’s toy and collectible car division carry the “Elite” moniker, which in the coming weeks, will add one more version to the series, an 1:18th die-cast model of the ’66 Batmobile featuring for the first time non-removable Batman and Robin figures from the television series (played by Adam West and Burt Ward respectively).

The new Hot Wheels Elite 1966 Batmobile will reach actual and online stores next month with prices to be announced, but for what it’s worth, we have heard that it will likely be priced somewhere around $130-$160.
