We still haven’t confirmed the rumor about Ford producing 1,000 examples of a limited edition version of the next generation Mustang in honor of the nameplate’s 50th anniversary next spring, but we can tell you that the Blue Oval will soon release a special watch for the same occasion.

It’s built in Detroit by local watch, leather goods, and bicycle manufacturer Sinola, with Ford stating on its website that only 1,000 units will be made to commemorate the first 50 years of Mustang, priced at $700 a pop with first deliveries in mid-October.

The admittedly few details that separate this watch include the galloping pony logo on the face and the metal crown (dial) on the side, along with a dome mag at the three o’clock position.

You can take a closer look at it in the gallery below and then answer the question posed in our title.
