Few of the stories we post are as gruesome as what you’re about to find out if you keep reading, but it’s only words, and no real graphic content is shown.
A group of divers came across a couple of sunken cars in Foss Lake located in Elk City, Oklahoma and they decided to come back with the proper tools to pull them out, which they did. However, upon getting the two cars out of the water (both Chevys, one Camaro and an unknown 1950s model), it was discovered that the vehicles contained human remains.
When the local police found out and came to the site, connections started to be made with disappearances reported many decades ago. For instance, it is believed that the Camaro is the one that was supposed to take three teens (two boys, one girl) to a football game, in 1970, yet they were never seen again.
The older car’s origin is a bit more of a mystery, but it will eventually tie in with the local stories, especially after the bones will be taken to a medical examiners’ lab and analyzed. Either way, it should bring closure to some, but it also makes us ask why it took so long to find these cars – good thing the divers were testing their new sonar equipment when they did…
