The soon-to-be launched 2014 CTS is the most interesting Cadillac sedan since…well, you might think we’re going to say the first generation CTS of 2002, but we’re not, as our vote for this place goes to last year’s ATS compact executive saloon, and that says a lot about the well-being of the wreath-and-crest brand these days.
It’s a known fact that the ATS played a significant role in shaping (literally) the 2014 CTS as it allowed Cadillac to re-position it squarely against the German competition from Audi’s A6, BMW‘s 5-Series and Mercedes’ E-Class, as well as Japan’s fresh opposition from the Lexus GS.
The purpose of this post, however, is not to detail the new CTS, as we’ve done this before, but to share 90 high-resolution images, around 60 of which are new, for you to get a closer look at the mid-size model that will soon go on sale priced between $46,025 for the 272hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder version and $59,995 for the 420hp 3.6-liter V6 Turbo Vsport edition.
