Update: Watch Jaguar’s pre-Frankfurt Motor Show reveal of the C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept to invited guests in the live stream video from 11:30 am EST/8:30am PST/ 17:10 CET after the jump.

The steady stream of Jaguar C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept-related pictures continues today with the most revealing set to date, with eight images that afford us an all-around look at the British brand’s Frankfurt Motor Show debut.

With the exception of some easily detectable details like the tires, wheels, mirrors and bumper trims, the C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept looks suspiciously production ready on the outside, with its design borrowing bits and pieces from other Jaguar models including the XF-inspired front and F-Type- esque rear end.

The interior, on the other hand, is a different story as Jaguar’s designers went for a more futuristic feeling while encompassing some signature cues from current cars such as the steering and rotating dial for the automatic transmission. Another highlight is the glass roof that appears to incorporate solar panels – though, we’ll have to wait for the official release to be sure.

Jaguar has said that the C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept is the brand’s first model to utilize its new modular aluminum architecture that will underpin its upcoming BMW 3-Series sedan rival.
