Is it facelift time for the Mercedes-Benz B-Class already? Not exactly, as we don’t anticipate anything new until late 2014 or 2015, but Stuttgart’s engineers have quietly started testing the upcoming B-Class facelift on public roads in Europe.
Since X-ray vision has yet to transcend the pages of superhero comics, we can’t see if and what’s hiding behind the plastic wraps of the front end of the B-Class prototype, but we believe nothing much, not because Mercedes isn’t planning a cosmetic revision, but because it’s too early for final testers to be making the rounds.
Typically, mid-life facelifts bring revisions to the front and rear ends of a car along with interior improvements, and we could see some or all of those applying to the 2015 B-Class, but until we learn more, we’ll put a stop here.
