For over 60 years now, the Patrol has held the flagship title in Nissan’s SUV lineup. It’s also massively popular in the Middle East, which is why Nissan chose this week’s Dubai Auto Show for the world premiere of the latest iteration of the series that will soon go on sale in select markets around the world.

The sixth generation Patrol hasn’t been around for long (it was presented in 2010) so there are no significant changes for this mid-life refresh, just minor cosmetic updates to keep the SUV looking contemporary.

These include a revised front end, together with modified tail lamp fixtures, a tan-leather seat option with a wood-trimmed steering wheel and fresh alloy wheel designs. Nissan also added a new Patrol Black Special Edition with a black matte exterior shade, chrome detailing and red seats, of which only 200 units will be made.
