Some of the best automotive-themed videos one can find online I think are those portraying the very passionate people that build their own vehicle, either based on something already existing or all-new and from scratch.
That’s basically the story of Joey Ruiter, a product designer based in Michigan who does genuinely seem to have a pretty good idea about where the industry as a whole is heading and exactly why he doesn’t want to be a part of it or promote its values.
He took the long road to pleasing himself with a custom vehicle that really defines the term. Dubbed the Reboot Buggy, it’s the squarest vehicle you’ve ever seen, but the simple shape does in no way detract from the appeal it has.
It’s a street-legal machine with under 500 hp, and its nature will make the experience of having it valet parked an interesting one, and different every time.
