Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East, so the best way to cross it would be in a fast car. But what ride to choose for more than 2,000 kilometers (1,243 miles) of driving through arid, dusty landscape? Well, the crew from Drive went for the McLaren 12C, which they believe is the best everyday supercar on the market.

Their journey started from the nation’s capital, Riyadh, with the final destination being Al Hada Road, a twisty mountain highway perfectly suited for the McLaren 12C.

It’s an interesting trip through a country that is not that well-known to the rest of the world, except for its exceptional oil resources and the ban imposed on female drivers. Come to think of it, I don’t remember seeing women at all in this video.

Still, a fleet of three McLaren 12Cs would definitely make any destination enjoyable, so scroll down to see what’s it like to drive across the vast Saudi territory.
