What would you say if Horacio Pagani himself invited you to take a ride in his personal car? Obviously, the answer would be a big, loud “yes”, especially if said car is a Zonda S 7.3, the sixth Zonda ever produced. That’s exactly what XCAR presenter Alex Goy said when the founder of Pagani Automobili invited him for a ride.

Powered by a 7.3-liter V12 engine producing 547hp and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque, the Zonda S 7.3 sprints from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and tops at 220 mph (354 km/h).

Add to that the fact that this particular car was on display at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show as the first car with a body completely made of carbon fiber, and you’ll realize it really is a special place to be in.

Furthermore, it’s a car that gets to be driven and not spend all its time in a garage, as Mr. Pagani had covered 69,292 km (43,056 miles) in it at the time this video was shot.

Curious to see how it’s holding up after all these years and kilometers? Scroll down to hear it from Horacio Pagani himself.
