Earlier today, Mercedes-Benz gave us our first detailed glimpse at the all-new, and rather pretty (in a mature manner), may I add, S-Class Coupe. Fast forward a few hours, and we now have a rendition of what we can expect from the already confirmed S-Class Convertible that should land in showrooms sometime next year.

The digital chop from X-Tomi involved just that: the removal of the S-Class Coupe’s metal top. Whether the actual car will bring more changes, such as a different angle for the windshield and reworked rear fenders, is something that we are not aware of at this time.

Benz officials have affirmed that, the first open-top S-Class since the W111 Cabriolet, produced between 1961 and 1971, will be offered with a fabric roof and ample seating room for four passengers, while under the hood, you will find the same twin-turbocharged V8 and V12 engines as in the Coupe.
