The PC is still the platform of choice for all those gamers who like the hands-on approach to playing their favorite titles, especially since it gives full settings control and also allows access to editing the game files.
After shifting through trailer after trailer after gameplay video, screenshot and current user commentaries, I think Project Cars will shine on the PC most of all, and be supported by a large community, after it launches on multiple platforms later this year (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4), Wii U, PC and the newfangled Steam OS).
As you can see in the recently uploaded trailer (posted below) and the earlier video we showed, the game is on a new level of pretty, that at least puts it on par with the visual impact of the latest Forza game, with detailed models, realistic reflections and effects and immersive interiors.
However, it will not be able to compete with the likes of Forza 5 on Xbox, a polished game with lots of diversity and strong developer support. On the PS4, it will go up against Drive Club and Gran Turismo 7 (eventually), and from what we’ve seen so far, Project Cars is definitely a prettier-looking game than the former – the latter will probably surpass it, since it’s announcing to be a big leap over the sixth installment.
