Stop the press! Well, not really, but anyway…Toyota has released a new special edition version (basically, it’s an SE Hybrid trim) of the 2014.5MY Camry Hybrid with supposedly “sporty styling” cues of which only 5,000 units will be produced from February to June of 2014, each carrying a base MSRP of $27,845.
What you get with the Camry Hybrid SE Limited Edition are all the features of the XLE trim level plus the regular SE’s front fascia, headlamps, side rocker panels, rear valance, rear bumper, rear spoiler, and 17-inch wheels with low profile tires, which Toyota claims, “emboldens” the mid-size sedan’s exterior.
And as you may have imagined, the same applies to the interior with the Hybrid model adopting the same leather-trimmed steering wheel, silver trim, instrument panel, center stack trim, and front and rear seats of the Camry SE grade.
Power continues to come from a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine and a hybrid system with a with nickel metal hydride battery that give out a combined system output of 200-horses.
