At last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, during the presentation of the well-received Concept Coupe, the Swedes at Volvo Cars told us that they would be releasing three studies over the following months. True to their words, they unveiled the second concept in the guise of the XC Coupe in Detroit this past January, and now, they have confirmed the third model for the Geneva auto show.

Volvo did not name or even tease the third concept car with a sketch or a cropped picture, and the only bit of information shared is that, it will ride on the brand’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform, just like the other two studies, with motivation provided by the new Drive-E Powertrain.

In Geneva, the new concept will be joined by the other two aforementioned studies (pictured below) that preview Volvo’s evolved design language, chassis and powertrain components, and possibly, new additions to the range.
