At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin focused on its “Q by Aston Martin” tailor-made personalization service, showcasing a number of cars featuring customizing touches both inside and out.

To show what Q by Aston Martin can do, the carmaker has released a video that includes cars sporting bespoke paints, leather upholsteries and veneers, as well as custom accessories. The idea behind Aston Martin’s bespoke program is to build models according to the exact wishes of its customers – and of course, to make more money in the process.

Aston Martin says the only limitation for the Q program is the customer’s imagination and I can’t help thinking this can be tricky sometimes, because not all Aston Martin buyers are experts in design or in combining colors and materials.

However, this is probably a price worth paying for the high profit margins brought by a personalization program.
