If you like the propeller badge, but also enjoy pedaling a great deal, then one of BMW’s third generation bicycles probably has your name on it. The manufacturer says the new line of bikes builds upon the same qualities as the outgoing one, which in turn tried to mirror the same kind of approach that they have towards cars.
New for this new generation is the seamless design which does away with visible welds, making the frame appear to have been made out of a solid piece and adding to this clean design, the cables too have been tucked inside – they say it’s “reminiscent of a motorcycle.”
Technical features that could be called new are the revised components which BMW sources from established names like Shimano or Suntour.
The range consists of the Cruise Bike, a new and sportier one called M Bike (opening photo), another called Cruise e-bike, plus the “comfortable and functional all-rounder,” the Trekking Bike. The models are expected to hit specialized dealers as of March.
