The brown (naked carbon fiber) and bronze Bugatti Veyron you see here is one of the brand’s special “Legend” models that honor various notable names from the time and family of the brand’s original creator, Ettore.
This particular one celebrates the life and work of renowned sculptor Rembrandt Bugatti, the founder’s brother – it’s called the Rembrandt Bugatti Legend Vitesse, and it’s based on the regular Vitesse model (also featured in the gallery below, in the fourth row) and only features cosmetic enhancements.
However, while the hues chosen here may work for sculptures, they certainly don’t make for the best looking Veyron variant to date, though that’s a disputed title and we’ll only touch it after the car is finally put out of production.
Will its replacement be as special and garner so much attention and recognition? Probably not, in a world literally inundated with… 5-6 1,200+hp supercars. Granted, none is as civilized to go about and around as the VW-funded Bugatti, but they can be faster, more modern and in tune with what’s currently going on in the industry.
