Just because it’s Cadillac’s smallest and most affordable model in the range, doesn’t mean that the soon-to-be wreathless brand’s ATS saloon doesn’t deserve a limited edition treatment. Whether the ATS Crimson Sport Edition is the limited edition buyers have been looking for, is a different story, but below are the facts you need to know.
To be produced in limited numbers only during spring of 2014, the main attraction for the new ATS Crimson Sport Edition is the unique Crimson Red Metallic exterior paint that can be combined with four different interior color schemes: Morello Red with Jet Black accents, Caramel with Jet Black accents, Jet Black with Jet Black accents or Light Platinum with Jet Black accents.
Cadillac completes the package with bespoke 18-inch Manoogian Dark Silver Premium Painted wheels, a ground effects kit with color-matched front splitter, rocker moldings and rear diffuser and a boot-lid spoiler on the outside, and microfiber suede trimmed heated steering wheel and shift lever, plus heated front seats inside.
You can have the ATS Crimson Sport Edition with a 272hp 2.0-liter turbo engine or the 321hp 3.6-liter V6 with rear- or all-wheel drive. If you’re interested, sales will begin at the end of March, with the 2.0T model starting at $46,010 (MSRP), and the 3.6L V6 edition at $51,010, with the RWD version of the latter also offering a standard Track Package.
