It looks like something that came to life out of a box of Cheerios or a Hot Wheels comic strip for kids; I mean, just check out the size of that spoiler for a roof!
Listed for sale on eBay, the prototype hot rod track racer gets a Small Block Chevrolet 383 Stroker V8 engine tuned to deliver more than 500-ponies. If the laws of aerodynamics hold true, you shouldn’t have a hard time achieving liftoff by repositioning that huge roof wing.
In the car’s description, the seller stated:
“Special construction replica 1923 Ford Model T……well sort of! This car started life as an asphalt modified circle track race car. When I saw the car for sale, I decided it would make a very cool Hot rod and the safest bucket around! With a love for 1970’s super modifies, can am, vintage Racing ,formula 5000 etc. My warped imagination and 3 years of hard work this is the result.”
“I built this car to be capable of doing multiple things. From cruise night and car shows to autocross or time trials and track days, it wouldn’t do bad at the drags either! At approx 2300 lbs and with 500+ horsepower/torque, it is quite a beast, but is easy to drive!”
In one of the pictures, the asking price for the custom hot rod is listed at $55,000 OBO (or best offer), but on eBay, it has been lowered to $39,999.99.
