For more than three decades now, Hartge has been honing and producing special parts for BMW‘s automobile range, even as the Bavarian automaker itself is persistently reaching into new grounds and evading tuner space with its sub-divisions like BMW Individual, M Sport and M Performance.
This week, Hartge announced its tuning program for the newly launched BMW 4-Series Convertible, with if not all, most of the parts available on the coupe edition too.
Under the hood improvements include kits that boost the 435i’s 3.0-liter six from 306PS (302hp) to 362PS (357hp), the 428i’s 2.0-liter four-pot from 245PS (242hp) to 286PS (282hp) and the 420d’s inline-four diesel from 184PS (181hp) to 218PS( 215hp).
Other components offered by Hartge are special insignias, an accelerator booster, aluminum emblems for the steering wheel, and a selection of lightweight alloy wheels in 19- or 20-inch sizes available with different offsets.
