The Peugeot Boxer is not the only van from the PSA group getting a comprehensive makeover, with the Citroën Jumper sibling receiving a similar treatment. Just like before, the Jumper remains just a rebadged version of the Peugeot Boxer, with the only differences between the two models being the grilles, the corporate logos and the nameplates.

The revised Jumper is the latest addition to Citroën’s light commercial vehicle lineup, which also includes the Nemo, Berlingo and Jumpy. The Jumper features identical headlights with the Boxer, fitted with LED daytime running lights.

Citroën says the upgraded architecture and ergonomics make the vehicle easier to use. The Jumper leads the category on load width between the wheel arches, at 1.42 m, and useful width of 1.87 m – always according to the automaker.

The cabin benefits from improvements as well, with the driving position optimized and the seats getting variable damping control, armrests and lumbar adjustment as standard. The van also gets the Connecting Box, which includes a Bluetooth hands-free kit and a USB socket, as well as a 5-inch color touchscreen for displaying the new navigation and reversing camera functions.

Citroën says running costs have been reduced, with a 15 percent reduction in fuel consumption over the previous generation for certain models. Engine options include a 2.2-liter diesel with either 110, 130 or 150 hp, as well as a 3.0-liter unit with 180 hp. The e-HDi 130 and e-HDi 150 versions are fitted with the Stop&Start system, cutting fuel consumption by 0.5 l/100 km in urban driving.

In terms of safety, the new Citroën Jumper is available with Intelligent Traction Control, Hill Descent Control, programmable speed limiter/cruise control, the Lane Departure Warning System, and a tyre pressure monitoring function.
