The Range Rover Evoque has enjoyed quite the popularity, ever since it was launched a couple of years ago. However, up until only just recently, it had no natural rivals, aside from maybe the Audi Q5; now it faces both the very talented Porsche Macan as well as the upcoming Lexus NX and BMW X4.
The Porsche is now seen as the top model in the class, and even though it’s considerably more expensive than the others, all reviews so far have placed it up on a very high pedestal for its looks, interior, handling, performance and… the badge.
Its only downside, further emphasized in the Turbo review by X-Car posted below, is the fact that you are asked to pay a lot to have access to all of it.
To that, you could also add its questionable off-road ability that saw it rescued by a modest Dacia Duster, after having been taken too far off the flat stuff. In fact, that probably happened at the same press event this video was shot at.
