Most people would have an extremely difficult time telling the 2013MY (2012 for readers outside North America) BMW M5 F10 apart from the Life Cycle Impulse or LCI, which is Bavarian talk for facelift, that was launched the following year.
And most wouldn’t really care one bit, but not M5post forum member “gezi999“, who was hell-bent on giving his 2012 M5 Individual a 2013/14 look.
Since the only parts that changed on the outside were the lights on both ends and the double kidney grille, the task should have been straightforward, but as anyone who has ever owned and/or worked on a modern German car should know, it’s easier said than done, especially when wires and electronics are involved…
In the end, and after several hours of labor that included the removal of the front bumper to get the Full Adaptive LED headlamps in place, the result is what you see in the pictures below.
