Sure, go ahead and have a blast trying to figure out what’s new about the New York Auto Show’s “redesigned” Jetta, while we travel with our imagination-mobile to China and the Beijing Auto Show, where besides the Golf R 400 Concept, VW will also lift the curtains on the New Midsize Coupé study.
It’s a four-door coupe, said to be shorter than the Jetta, but wider than the Passat, which leads us to believe that it likely previews the rumored CC’s smaller sibling based on the next Jetta sedan.
Under the sleek (according to the drawings, at least) body work lies a unspecified 220PS (217hp) powertrain that pushes the car to 100km/h (62mph) from standstill in 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 245km/h (152mph).
That’s all we have for now, but we’ll keep you posted on any information we receive.
