Admittedly, this is one of the most insane motorcycle speed chases, but at the same time, shameless display of complete disregard of road rules and safety that we have seen this year (so far).
The perpetrators are the riders of a BMW S1000 RR (you may remember it knocking the snot out of a Bugatti Veyron on the drag strip) and the Honda CBR1000 Respol Edition, while the place remains unknown.
These two bikers constantly flirted with the top end speed of their motorcycles at 299km/h or 186mph, dangerously weaving through traffic (note the cyclist at 1:16 minutes) and even riding on the shoulder of the road.
A few YouTubers were impressed, but most were critical about their actions, including James Smith, who wrote:
“I disrespect people who are driving crazy fast while there is other people on the road. Do you have any idea what will happen if a bike crashes into a car from behind with 250km/h+? And what if there is a baby in the back seat? What if people don’t see you coming that fast and misjudge the distance because you are speeding and turn over in the other lane? RIP you and perhaps the car. If you want to drive fast do it when there is nobody on the road. This is just sick and stupid.”
