The Lamborghini Diablo was the last supercar built in Sant’Agata Bolognese without any influence from Audi, which bought the company in 1998. I’m talking about the pre-facelift Diablo, as in 1999 Audi operated some changes to the Diablo on the occasion of the model’s refresh.
The Diablo was also the first model developed under Chrysler’s ownership of the company. Originally, it had 492 horsepower from a 5.7-liter V12 engine, but this particular car that paid a visit to Jay Leno’s Garage, is a tuned example producing 40-50 hp more than the standard version.
