If someone has half a million dollars (cash or not) to spend on a car like the Rolls Royce Phantom, you would naturally assume that they would have absolutely no problem taking care of it. Well, as they say, there are exceptions to every rule, and this repossessed 2005 Rolls Royce Phantom proves it…
We don’t know if it is indeed the “shittiest” Rolls Royce Phantom you’ll ever see in your life, as the guys from SuperspeedersRob channel claim, but this Rolls from New Jersey is in a very sad shape.
According to the repo-man, the owner of the 95,000-mile Phantom “literally drove it into the ground after not making a payment in 3 years, then called bank to come get it when it was no longer usable.”
He continues: “Well, If you are not going to pay for it you might as well drive it till the wheels fall off… Unfortunately that is the story behind this repossessed Rolls Royce is in need of some serious TLC. Problem is it may be too far gone to save. I would part it out, would you fix it or scrap it?”
“At the very least it needs an engine rebuild, missing suspension components all around replaced, new headlight, paint work, leather repair, engine lights tended to, new tires, (assuming new brakes) all to just be an average condition 95,000 mile car…”
The car is said to be worth around $40,000 to $50,000 in its current condition, but you have to keep in mind the scarcity and sky-high prices of Rolls Royce parts, as well the fact that you can probably buy a Phantom with less than 40,000 miles for around $130k.
