Jeff Zwart doesn’t just drive his Porsche 356 from 1953, he hammers it, trying to keep its 60-ish hp engine spinning as quickly as possible; as you’ve seen in Chris Harris’ 2CV video, it’s all about conserving inertia and using it with cars that are not exceedingly powerful.

He’s a film director, as well as a Pikes Peak Hillclimb champ, so he’s pretty good behind the wheel, having driven all manner of Porsches in racing events. In the video posted below, he tells the story of his plain white 356, a car he bought ten years prior in order to shoot it in snow, then incorporate that footage into the launch promo of the then new Cayenne.

However, after finishing its job as a promo car, the 356 was not sold on, and Jeff kept it and kept beating on it. His favorite thing to do seems to be to put rally-spec studded snow tires (that are legal in Colorado where he lives) and keep the throttle berried around the corners – makes for a pretty good spectacle, which you can see by scrolling down.
