Peugeot’s best-selling model, the 208 B-segment hatch, has received a special edition model called 208 Like. Available both as three- and five-door, the Peugeot 208 Like is initially offered on the French market but will arrive on other European markets as well.
The 208 Like can be had with five body colors (Blanc Banquise, Gris Aluminium, Noir Perla Nera, Bleu Virtuel, Rouge Rubi), white wheel covers and contrasting colored details including “208 Like” stickers, grille frame and rearview mirrors. All these details are painted blue on all body colors except for the white version, which gets blue details.
White and blue are also used on the inside, with the seatbelts, door trim, climate control area and gearshift lever painted white, while the black/blue seats with white stitching are adorned with the 208 Like lettering.
Depending on the market, standard equipment for the Peugeot 208 Like includes climate control, Pioneer audio system with headphones, USB and iPod connectivity, electric windows, cruise control with speed limiter, six airbags, ABS, ESP and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The special edition 208 is offered with two engines, a 1.0-liter PureTech gasoline unit and a 1.4-liter HDi diesel, each producing 68 hp and mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The gasoline model is priced from €10,490 ($14,371) in France.
