If only cars could talk, what magnificent stories they could tell; for instance, this 1991 Acura Legend that we discovered on eBay and which looks like it just came off the production line, was stolen brand new from an Acura dealership and was only driven for 7,000 miles before being stored and recovered by the police in 2011.
“We have the police report telling everything about the Acura,” says the seller. “It states that it was found in brand new condition. Nothing has been altered, wrecked or painted! On the title, it states Formerly Abandoned! The person we bought it from bought it off the Insurance company, which is why it has a salvage title. They kept the Acura until this week and only put 2000 miles on it. They just used the Acura to go to car cruises, Sunday drives etc.”
The pictures of the car speak for themselves – and perhaps for the quality of Japanese models from the 1990s as well.
Personally, I find the second generation of the Acura (sold as a Honda in the rest of the world) Legend made from 1990 through 1995, to be the best looking of the series that was later on renamed to RL. Not a bad deal if you can grab it for around $10,000 that is the highest bid on eBay at the time we published this post.
