The Hungarian-built Swift hatch is one of the cutest yet most restrained superminis on the market. The look caught on so well that when it came time for Suzuki to replace the previous-gen Swift, they replaced it with a car that looked exactly the same…

Now, it’s time for a new update, in order to keep the current model viable. The company has operated minor trim revision, like the addition of foglights and LED daytime running lights on all models from the SZ2 trim upward; there’s also a new color to set all of it off, called Amethyst Grey Pearl Metallic, which a we believe is the color of the car shown below.

The mainstay powerplant is the same 1.2-liter petrol engine, which can even be coupled to an all-wheel drive system (available for higher trims), which is probably the thing that sets the Swift apart from its rivals (and any other mainstream small car currently on sale in Europe bar the Fiat Panda 4×4, though that’s not a direct rival…). The Sport variant is offered with the same 1.6-liter engine that remains untouched.
