Nissan has just shared an image of a mysterious sports car concept without releasing any details other than the following statement: “On Monday, June 16, we will reveal the next chapter in our Nissan story to an audience that has always shared our passion for performance.”
That last part strongly suggests that this is Nissan’s concept for the Sony PlayStation Gran Turismo Vision series, but the shape of the vehicle together with some of the details like the headlamp and grille design, also point to the GT-R.
And since Nissan is planning a replacement for its highly lauded performance model, it would make a lot of sense if the Japanese carmaker either previewed or hinted at the design direction for the next GT-R.
